Terms of Service

The service

TopicTracker searches recent news coverage on topics you choose, generates AI-synthesized briefings with links to the original publishers, and — for tracked topics — emails you digests when something genuinely new happens. By using it you agree to these terms.

AI content — important

Briefings, live-context figures, and glossaries are generated by artificial intelligence from third-party news sources and web data. They may contain errors, omissions, or outdated figures. Always verify important claims with the linked original sources. Nothing on TopicTracker is financial, investment, legal, or medical advice — do not make decisions in those areas based on a briefing.

Your account

Keep your password secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. One account per person. You must be at least 16 to use the service. You can delete your account at any time from the account page.

Plans & billing

• The free plan and paid plan limits are shown on your account page. Fair-use limits apply to "unlimited" features to keep the service healthy for everyone.
• Paid subscriptions are billed by Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. Cancel anytime via Manage billing — you keep paid features until the end of the paid period, after which extra topics are paused (never deleted).
• If a payment fails we retry for a grace period before downgrading your account to free-plan limits.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no scraping or reselling of briefings at scale, no attempts to bypass rate limits or security, no illegal use. Summaries link to publishers because their journalism is the foundation of this product — republishing briefings as if they were your own reporting isn't allowed.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We may modify or discontinue features; we'll give reasonable notice of material changes to paid features.
